UX contributions

Accessibility & compliance
Dedicated to creating digital experiences that are accessible to everyone by focusing on designing intuitive and inclusive interfaces that accommodate a wide range of abilities and technologies. Collaboration with accessibility specialists and development teams ensures accessibility barriers are reviewed, tested, and addressed effectively, maintaining compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and adherence to the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Key accessibility features, such as proper keyboard navigation, logical reading order, and well-structured headings, are prioritized to ensure seamless usability for those relying on assistive technologies like screen readers. Emphasis is placed on readable text sizing and sufficient color contrast to improve accessibility for individuals with low vision.
Close collaboration with UX writers ensures meaningful alternative text for images and the development of clear, consistent content. This approach supports the creation of a digital environment that is inclusive, functional, and easy to navigate for all users
UX Research & testing
Moderated usability studies, surveys and A/B testing
I have hands-on experience creating prototypes tailored for testing, ensuring they effectively simulate the intended user experience and provide meaningful insights during evaluation. By collaborating closely with user researchers, I contributed to the success of moderated usability testing, surveys, and A/B testing initiatives.
Together, we designed and executed studies that revealed how users interacted with the prototypes, uncovering pain points, preferences, and opportunities for improvement. These efforts have consistently led to improved user engagement, as usability testing ensured the designs were intuitive, functional, and aligned with the user needs. My prototypes served as the foundation for these research efforts, enabling users to explore realistic design scenarios and provide actionable feedback. This collaborative approach ensured that every experience was informed by real user insights, resulting in refined, user-centered solutions that drove satisfaction and engagement.

Card sorting and tree testing
I also have experience conducting card sorting and tree testing across various markets and languages, ensuring that the user experience is optimized for a global audience. By testing designs in multiple languages and countries, I gain valuable insights into how users from different cultures and backgrounds interacted with the information on the page and navigated the site. This cross-cultural testing allowed me to identify usability issues unique to specific regions, while ensuring consistency and accessibility across all markets.
Collaborating with user researchers, I helped to synthesize the findings from these studies to create actionable strategies for moving forward. I took a data-driven approach, analyzing user behaviors and preferences to streamline workflows, and improve overall usability. This process ensured that the final design decisions were rooted in real-world data, leading to a more intuitive, globally optimized product.

Partnering with usability research vendors
I had the opportunity to take an active role in selecting multiple third-party usability research companies to collaborate with. This process involved evaluating several potential vendors to ensure they aligned with our project goals and could effectively address our specific research needs. By collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, I played a key role in identifying essential product services, evaluating the methodologies offered by potential research partners, and assessing their ability to provide insights that would lead to meaningful improvements in our user experience.

Once the partnership was established, I collaborated with the research team to define the scope of the studies, ensuring they would provide the actionable insights needed to refine our designs and optimize user engagement. This experience not only helped refine our research strategy but also highlighted the value of utilizing external expertise to enhance our research processes and create a more user-centered experience.

Heuristic Evaluation and competitive analysis
Conducted heuristic evaluations to assess the user interface against established usability principles. This involved reviewing key aspects such as navigation, clarity, and functionality to identify any pain points that might hinder the user experience. Focusing on areas like error prevention, visual hierarchy, and consistency, ensures a seamless journey for users, making it easier for users to navigate services and access relevant information with confidence and ease.

Competitive analysis provides valuable insights into market trends, user expectations, and industry standards. By evaluating competitors' products and user experiences, I identified strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, which informed design decisions to better meet user needs and strategically position the product in the market.
User journeys
I focused on mapping out the complete user experience, from the first touchpoint to the final goal, by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and emotions at each stage of the journey, using both research and data to guide my decisions. By identifying key interactions and potential obstacles, I can design more intuitive pathways that make the experience smoother and more engaging. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that users can achieve their objectives efficiently, with minimal friction and maximum satisfaction.

Site maps and taxonomy
I focused on organizing and structuring content to create a clear and intuitive navigation system. I begin by analyzing the existing structure and identifying any pain points or areas of confusion for users based on research and analytics. From there, I explore different ways to categorize and group content, always keeping the user's journey in mind. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the proposed site map aligns with business goals while providing a seamless, easy-to-navigate experience.

AEM templates
During a comprehensive website migration project, we identified several opportunities to standardize and streamline the design process through the creation of reusable templates. By developing multiple template options, we reduced time-to-market for marketing campaigns with flexible templates, enabling the marketing team to launch campaigns and updates more quickly while ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints. This approach not only reduced time-to-market but also enhanced operational efficiency by providing a scalable framework for content deployment.

After six months of use, we conducted a review to evaluate the effectiveness of the templates. This involved analyzing adoption, gathering feedback on flexibility, and identifying any necessary adjustments for improved usability and alignment with business goals. Based on this feedback, the templates were updated to better meet the marketing team's needs while maintaining consistency and efficiency.

Design systems
I collaborated closely with an existing design system team to enhance Figma components and integrate them into a global component library for developers. A key challenge was determining the right balance between customization and standardization—deciding when a component should be flexible versus fixed. To address this, we analyzed usage data, assessed how many teams and pages would benefit, and considered long-term scalability. The impact was a more consistent user experience across the site and increased adoption of standardized components by multiple teams, improving efficiency and alignment across the organization.
